Omicron We Carry On!

The majority of my family have had the COVID-19 vaccine and recently got our boosters (3 shots.) Just as the vaccine became available for my 8 year old daughter there’s a new mutant variant making its way across the world. One that may not be effective against the already distributed vaccine we have today! I try to limit my time reading and watching world and state current events and certainly politics but today I felt like sharing my somewhat disheartening feeling that our time with the pandemic is ongoing and will be for quite a while. We still have very little information on the new variant but in the meantime let’s continue on with our lives as usual.

As the weather gets colder more people are booking massages and I’m happy to have new clients to welcome into my little piece of less-crazy in this crazy world. I welcome everyone and DO NOT require clients to be vaccinated nor do I have any desire to change someone’s mind if they’re not. You will receive the same treatment and respect as a vaccinated person.

Good news! Condon’s health clinic now has an experienced physical therapist who was raised in Condon and has a background with pediatrics. Very exciting! I have changed some policies and the rates of my services and ordered some new business cards and tried to round up all my old business brochures downtown. I couldn’t operate with the old rates and truly make a profit after the economy inflated many things I need to run my business. I appreciate your understanding in this.

What’s happening for me? This weekend my family are going to use a Umatilla National Forest tree permit to find our Christmas tree and cut it down ourselves. Should be fun! You’ll be seeing my husband and I (mostly husband) putting up Christmas lights around my front office and home. I’m feeling good about the new referral program I’ve started. This holiday season I’m enjoying thinking of new promotions and deals and incentives to buy gift certificates before Christmas! Happy December everyone!
