Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Yes! Although coverage varies by individual plans and companies, I can check with your insurance provider about possible coverage for massage therapy. Please note that PAYMENT IS NOW EXPECTED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. While I understand that in the past I have billed clients after billing insurance I am initiating new policies regarding payment beginning 2/01/2024 and coinciding with updated service prices.

Do I have to be naked?

Clients dress down to their comfort level and whether that be fully nude or just down to underwear, or wearing a turtleneck and pants, is entirely up to them! Depending on the modality, taking clothing off isn’t necessary.

Is the massage going to be painful?

The massage is not intended to be painful or to cause discomfort leading to pain! Open and honest communication between myself and the client is key to making sure the session goals are reached without pain. Life can be hurtful already and your massage doesn’t have to be!

Can I ask for more or less pressure?

I do my best to check in with clients throughout the session but if at any time you feel you want the pressure deepened or a softer approach please let me know so I can adjust appropriately. Be aware that DEEPER doesn’t always mean better or more effective and that I don’t massage at a deeper pressure until the body system and tissues are ready to receive the pressure (if it’s needed.)

Where are you located?

As of today 1/29/2024 I am located at 128 S. Main St., Condon, Oregon within Condon City Hall by appointment only (with same day appointments usually available.) I also offer massage at 110 On the Mall Arlington, Oregon on select Fridays within Arlington Family Healthcare Clinic. You’ll see me at various employment locations within Wheeler and Gillam Counties and events. If you have a disability or lack of transportation blocking you from coming to the Condon or Arlington location please contact me and we can discuss at-home massage possibilities.
