Changes are a Comin’

I have been in business now for three years, with the help and support of clients, family and friends, the community, and other businesses helping to promote my services. It’s gone by fast and there have been some ups and downs along the way (who could have predicted the last two years?) I feel honored to have met so many different people and hopefully have made a positive impact whether your goals have been for relaxation, pain relief, or an hour to yourself in a peaceful setting.

I hope my current clients and prospective clients will be understanding with some upcoming changes including a rate change for services starting November 1st, 2021 for new clients and December 1st, 2021 for current clients. I strive for fair prices and feel this increase is appropriate to the rising costs of business for myself, cost of living increase, and the quality of professional services I focus on have seen me take on 80+ hours of continuing education to better serve you.

The last rate change was in 2019 so I just wanted to give you a heads up and give you the opportunity for purchasing discount packages for massage at the current rate before November 1st and will have that available on my website soon. I will honor pre-purchased massages via the gift cards/gift certificates made out specifically for the current rates of massage.

This year my business hours are changing to fit into a more balanced schedule for my family as school resumes and there are currently very limited childcare options for me at this time, my hours will need to shift for that. My website is getting a makeover, I have more payment options for online booking, and for the past year I’ve gone paperless and will continue to do so for all client paperwork and receipts.

I will be changing massage modalities descriptions to fit more appropriately to what the session entails and ask you to contact me if you have any questions. For example, I now use a gentler form of trigger point therapy and rarely use it as a go-to for deep tissue therapies. I use more activated isolated stretching (sports massage) and myofascial release techniques.  Massage can help you manage anxiety and stress, pain, prevent injuries, complement chiropractic and physical therapy, and improve poor sleep. I thank you for seeing massage as an important health aid and tool of self-care and for choosing Country Massage to be a part of your life!
