Cetyl alcohol

  • fatty acid that is derived from animal and vegetable fats and oils

Sodium stearoyl lactylate

  • as a synthetic chemical it is recognized as being halal

Ethylhexlgylcerin

  • synthetic skin-softening agent, preservative and carrier/suspending agent that boosts the efficacy of other preservatives such as phenoxyethanol. It has been shown to have mild humectant properties leading to improved skin hydration without a sticky feel

    *side note: personal care products that have water need a preservative to inhibit growth of bacteria and fungi. Ethylhexlgylcerin is safer than parabens and the best available preservative that is effective and safe for use. Not all added preservatives are evil.
